Ayurveda

Angela Inglis

Ayurveda is the traditional medicine of India. It is still practiced alongside Western medicine, in Ayurvedic hospitals throughout India.

Ayurveda is founded on the theory that we all have individual dietary and lifestyle requirements based on our unique physiological and psychological make-up (your Ayurvedic Constitution). Thus, an Ayurveda Practitioner, takes your unique constitution into account when designing your individualized Health & Wellness Plan, which offers suggestions for you to integrate in the areas you have chosen to focus on.

Health can be recovered or maintained by making adjustments in one of more of the following areas: diet, exercise, daily routine, stress management, herb and supplement use. You decide where you are able to make changes and your Health & Wellness Plan is designed accordingly.

There are many routes back to health and wellbeing, in the eyes of Ayurveda. The key is to understand your Ayurvedic Constitution and to set realistic, practical goals.Book a consultation and find out how Ayurveda can help you rediscover vitality.

I've studied Ayurveda in India (Gujarat Ayurveda University), the USA (Ayurvedic Institute) and in various environments with my cherished teachers, Vasant Lad and Sonia Masocco. In consultations, workshops and trainings, I draw on more than 20 years of Ayurvedic study and experience, along with the knowledge I've gained as a massage therapist, and a student of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
